Conscious Movement And The Enneagram - PRACTICE GROUP

“The enneagram is almost impossible to understand without the feeling brought by participating in the Movements that are based on it”
- George Gurjieff

A very different way of moving your body and allowing it to be your teacher.

We have all experienced our bodies through walking, running, dancing, working and resting. Each of these bodily experiences have affected us, even if we are not aware of it.

For many years I have had the pleasure of learning ways of moving my body with greater awareness and intention. Skilled movement teachers have helped me be aware of how our bodies can be our greatest teachers of Presence, Insight and Inspiration.

I am continuing to form a small group for curious people who would like to experience the enneagram teachings in a different way. Using exercises and movements developed by George Gurdjieff, Madame de Saltzmann, and other esoteric leaders, we will spend five evenings in a supportive community, learning, observing and reflecting on our bodies responses to sacred movements.

Wake up to your automatic patterns! Come dip your toe into this new way of learning that includes your head, your heart AND your body.

No previous experience necessary - All are welcome!.

“The Movements are a way of living the idea of Presence. The idea alone is not enough. There needs to be an action that brings the energy we are talking about. Through the Movements, a new energy is produced. We can feel it.”

- Madame de Saltzmann

Thank you very much to Dale for being such a great instructor and moderator. I learned a lot. He was a grounding force as we conversed about some very abstract and new ideas. Also, I really enjoyed our little group and will miss seeing everyone. Hopefully, someday, our paths will cross again.
